3500 YEAR OLD TREE

Yesterday was a very sad day as the senator, a 3500 year old bald cypress tree burned to the ground.  It was thought to be one of the oldest trees in existance in the world.  Cables were supposed to protect it from lighting, but it is suppected that lighting started the fire two weeks before it was discovered. On my photoshelter site is a picture of this tree we shot about 2 months ago when we went to visit the big tree park, in longwood, fl. Im pleased we were able to preserve this historic tree in pictures and hope to in the future to be able to take more pictures to preserve what is left of the beauty of this country before it is destroyed by developers. As species of birds and animals are becoming extinct due to mans inhumanity to man, so will we become extinct if we dont do more to protect what we still have.

Today I added Aftershop pro to by software programs used for my photo work. It is an excellant program for working with editing and storing of photos.  Will have more later when I learn more about it.
